VCA CareClub
VCA CareClub is a 12-month service contract sold at VCA clinics — Junior, Adult and Senior tiers for dogs and cats, plus a lower-priced Access Plan at some clinics. VCA's published position is short: the plan cannot be cancelled during the term except in special cases like moving or the loss of a pet, and it auto-renews on your enrollment date. What VCA does not publish is the part owners need most — what cancelling actually costs. This hub works from the documented record instead: clinic pages, complaints, and settled cases.
VCA does not publish a cancellation formula or a national price list. One clinic page shows an Access Plan at $19.99 a month; third-party reports put the main tiers around $50 to $100 or more a month, varying by clinic — the same plan has been cited at $55 a month in Idaho and $95 a month in San Diego. Any site that gives you one exact VCA cancellation number is inventing it. Ours gives you the two candidate numbers from your own invoices and the range they make.
The documented pattern: clinics settle cancellations on a services-used basis — the retail value of what your pet received against what you have paid — and the first number quoted is often the higher one. In the documented VCA Park Cities case the quote was $1,100 where finishing the year cost $700, and after a complaint it settled at $480. That is why the VCA pages here are built around one move: demand the itemized breakdown, in writing, before you agree to anything.
CareClub auto-renews on your enrollment date. VCA's own FAQ says auto-renew can be turned off in your myVCA account up to 1 day before the renewal date. That is how VCA states it — do it weeks early anyway, and keep the confirmation.
Estimate honesty: VCA does not publish a cancellation formula or a national price list. Every VCA number on this page is a range or an estimate built from your own invoices, never a published figure.
The line this site never crosses: What care your pet gets is a decision for you and your veterinarian. These pages are only about the contract and the money.
Every figure in this niche depends on your enrollment date, your payments, and the retail value of what your pet has used. The free checker computes your three options from those numbers alone.
