About

About VetPlanCheck.

VetPlanCheck exists because of a gap you can verify in five minutes: the pages that answer "how do I cancel this plan, and what will I owe" today are prose explainers, insurance affiliates answering a different question, and the clinics' own FAQ paragraphs — and none of them computes anything. Meanwhile the complaint record is enormous and current: Banfield's headquarters BBB profile alone carries 1,058 complaints from the last 3 years, 310 in the last 12 months (checked October 2026). This site is the computing answer: a free checker that prices your three contract options from your own numbers, and a $39 Exit Kit with the scripts and playbooks.

Not PetCoverCheck — the difference, printed

Pet insurance is a policy you buy from an insurance company. A wellness plan is a service contract you sign at a vet clinic. Different paper, different trap — this site is about the clinic contract. PetCoverCheck (petcovercheck.com) decodes pet insurance policy forms — switch dates, cure windows, exclusions. VetPlanCheck decodes clinic plan contracts — settlements, anniversaries, renewal switches. Where the two jobs meet, on the wellness plan vs. pet insurance page, each site links to the other's free checker and neither does the other's work. PetCoverCheck's free checker is at petcovercheck.com.

The line we never cross

What care your pet gets is a decision for you and your veterinarian. These pages are only about the contract and the money. The checker takes financial and administrative inputs only — provider, price, dates, dollars of services used — and returns contract arithmetic. It never comments on what care a pet needs.

How the facts are kept

Banfield's formula and prices come from Banfield's own site, its statements to the press, and its written BBB complaint responses. VCA figures are labeled estimates and ranges forever, because VCA publishes no formula to compute against. Documented cases are labeled with their source and date and presented as reported outcomes, never promises. Data pages are stamped October 2026 and re-checked on a quarterly rhythm. VetPlanCheck is a product of CLEARDEAL LLC. Questions: help@doogex.com.
